As we enter into the month of April we don’t want to forget that April is National Autism Awareness Month. We want to dedicate this month to a very special little boy named Braylen Boyd. Sara, his mom, has been a part of the Golden Circle Auto Group family for almost 3 years.
An estimated 1 out of 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls are diagnosed with autism in the United States. Many have exceptional abilities in visual skills, music, as well as, academic skills. About 40% have average to above average intellectual abilities. These children are very special.
Braylen was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 3. He will be 8 years old on April 7. He is a precious little boy who loves Ninja Turtles! Brayden is very good with puzzles and computers. (AutismSpeaks)Autism cannot be cured, but the condition can be effectively treated, especially if done in the early years of the child’s life. For over 50 years the Autism Society has been the leading resource for individuals on the autism spectrum. With your much needed and appreciated gift we plan to continue to be the place those in the autism community turn to for information and resources.
